The 24-year-old Scotland international defender will now discuss personal terms and undergo a medical before completing a proposed move to The Molineux.
"We have agreed a deal with Hearts for an undisclosed fee and, on condition of Christophe passing a medical this evening, he will be signing for us," Wolves' chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website on Saturday morning.
