Red Devils in rush to install new equipment for Wednesday showdown.

Manchester United are in a race against time to install a new ‘cricket style’ scoreboard for the game on Wednesday against our boys.

The management raised concerns that the likes of Van Nistelrooy, Ryan Giggs and even goalkeeper Tim Howard will become dis-orientated during the game due to losing track of the match score and how many goals they’ve individually scored.

Therefore, players will have an individual entry on the scoreboard that will easily allow them to quickly check if they’ve reached double figures. Wolves will have a permanent entry of 0 against the goals scored column.

As well as this, Tim Howard will also be sporting new technology. He will show off the latest design of the ‘goalkeeping hammock’, which he will attach to each post for both 45-minute halves.

Wolves may also be able to re-write the history books with their first visit to Old Trafford in nearly 20 years.

The current Premiership record win is held by Manchester United who beat Ipswich Town 9-0 in the 1994/5 season with Andy Cole scoring 5 on that occasion. Add to this that Manchester United’s record league win is 10-1 against Wolves back in 1892 and both could be about to be smashed in front of millions of fans watching world wide.

If you fancy making some money back on paying for your season ticket then the best odds offered are on a 4-0 home win at 7/1. If you fancy making some ‘real’ money then a 10-0 home win is a generous 150/1.

By the way – I’m just making light of a ‘difficult’ situation before you e-mail with angry messages!

You have to laugh – don’t you?
