Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to formally announce Rob Edwards as their new head coach today, following an agreement reached with Middlesbrough over a compensation package.
Edwards, a former Wolves player and coach, has reportedly signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The club is set to pay Boro around £3m million for the manager, whose swift appointment is intended to galvanize the bottom-of-the-table side before the international break.
His arrival follows the sacking of Vítor Pereira and the collapse of talks with former boss Gary O’Neil.
