Kidderminster Friendly Postponed

The club have notified Harriers that because of a growing number of players being sidelined through injuries they would not be able to send a team to the Aggborough that would warrant a paying public.

“We are very sorry to have to do this at short notice,” Wolves secretary Richard Skirrow told the clubs official website.

“Unfortunately we only have 17 players fit and training today and they will all have to be involved in the game at Mansfield tomorrow evening.

"The only other alternative for Wednesday would have been to send an inexperienced Academy side but this wasn’t considered to be fair to the paying public.

“We have given an undertaking to play the fixture no later than pre-season next year.

“Although the situation is unavoidable we appreciate the inconvenience caused and sincerely apologise to supporters of both teams who were planning to attend the game.”
