Hoddle Disappointed

Wolves created very little in front of goal against Neil Warnocks side and had to make do with a share of the spoils following a dull goalless draw.

"They made it difficult for us and got people behind the ball," Hoddle said after the game.

"We did not have the quality in the final third of the field to open the door. We played quite well up to a point, then it was disappointing.

"I have to say that, of all the teams that have come here, they have probably affected our goal less than anyone."

In contrast, Blades boss Warnock was delighted at having snatched a priceless point from the game.

"Coming here and getting a draw is like safely jumping over Bechers Brook at the Grand National," he said.

"I punched the air in delight at the final whistle."
